We are finding more and more people require more solar power then what the standard 6.6KW solar system can deliver. A 6.6KW solar system usually only covers the basics of a family’s electricity needs. Items such as ducted air-con’s or a heated pool often need more bespoke solutions and considerations before a final solution can be designed.

Even though our customer already had heated solar hot water, there was a pool and air-con’s throughout the house that used a lot of electricity, giving enough of quarterly cost in power the bill to allow for a 12KW solar system to be installed.

With a Fronius 10KW 3 phase inverter, we were able to fit 12KW (all the roof space would allow for the size of the panel) and get a great solution that is anything then out of the box.

It can be odd to have to a 2 phase electricity connection to a residental property in Paddington. However, that is what happened in our lastest solar system installation.

Solution: The 1st phase has 6.6KW solar system exporting 5KW to the grid (money maker). The 2nd phase has a 10.56KW solar system also exporting and providing power to the house.

A Fronius 5KW and 8KW inverter was used with 52 × Jinko Solar Cheetah panels. This was a great solution for the owners and they couldn’t be happier the the result.

Situated with an almost perfect north-facing roof and no shading issues, this was really a no brainer for Joe.

With 72 panels installed (done with with the ease of a crane) and 15KW Sungrow inverter, this solar system is producing 90KW a day at the winter solstice! Brisbane City Cranes couldn’t have made a better choice. You might say that these cranes have lifted a solar system to new highs!
